Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo obravnavali mikrokrmilniški modul Arduino. Opisali smo strojno opremo modela Uno, ki ga uporabljamo v praktičnem delu, ter predstavili osnovne karakteristike ostalih modelov. V nadaljevanju smo spoznali odprtokodno razvojno okolje Arduino in Arduino programski jezik. V praktičnem delu smo preverili, kako se odprtokodna platforma Arduino izkaže v praksi. Razvili smo avtomatski sistem za samodejno zalivanje, pri čemer smo uporabili številne dodatne komponente, ki smo jih tudi predstavili. Prav tako smo izdelali lasten senzor vlažnosti zemlje, ki nam pomaga pri odločanju. Posamezne korake razvoja smo podrobno opisali in razložili vezalno shemo elementov.

Secondary title: Control of microcontroller module arduino and its application in communication with peripheral units
Secondary abstract: The thesis focuses on a microcontroller module Arduino. We describe the hardware of Arduino Uno model that is used in the practical part of the thesis and we also show some characteristics of other Arduino modules. Afterwards we introduce Arduino open source development environment and Arduino programming language. In practical part we examine how Arduino open source platform can be used in real projects. We develop an automatic system for plant watering with many different components. To measure moisture we create our own soil moisture sensor which is used in the system. Each developing step is described well and includes a wiring diagram.
