Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo raziskali in predstavili alternativne načine uporabe optičnega senzorja iz optične miške. Dva načina uporabe smo implementirali tudi sami. Preizkusili smo, kako se optični senzor obnese v vlogi optičnega bralnika in kako pri zaznavanju mehanskih vplivov na optično vlakno. Izdelali smo elektronsko vezje za pridobivanje podatkov s pomočjo optičnega senzorja in posredovanje le-teh podatkov osebnemu računalniku. Napisali smo program za upravljanje mikrokrmilnika na našem vezju in okensko aplikacijo za delo z našim modulom. Pri preizkušanju in raziskovanju smo ugotovili, da ima senzor kljub nizki ceni in slabšim zmogljivostim visoko uporabno vrednost na različnih področjih.

Secondary abstract: The aim of the graduation thesis is the research and presentation of alternative uses of an optical sensor from an optical computer mouse as well as the implementation of two possible usages. The research was focused on the performance of the optical sensor as a scanner and as a sensor for mechanical influences on the optical fiber. A self-made electronic circuit was used for the acquisition of data from the optical sensor and the passing of these data to a personal computer. The thesis provides a self-written program for the management of the microcontroller on the circuit and a windows application for the work with the module. The testing and research revealed a high applicable value of the sensor in various fields despite the low price and poorer performance.
