Abstract
Diplomsko delo obsega določanje potenciometričnih lastnosti molibdenove in volframove elektrodne površine. Pripravljenim elektrodam smo določili njihove odzivne čase, ponovljivost, območje, v katerem se najbolj linearno odzivajo na spremembe pH, ter uporabnost v pretočni injekcijski analizi.
Molibdenova elektroda je pokazala uporabnost pri potenciometričnih titracijah. Odzivni čas je zelo kratek, manj kot 10 sekund. Delovno območje, kjer se je elektroda odzivala linearno, je med pH 3 in 10, z naklonom 41,7 2 mV/pH.
Volframova elektroda daje pri potenciometričnih titracijah dober in ponovljiv odziv. Direktne potenciometrične meritve so pokazale, da je območje pH, v katerem se elektroda odziva, linearno, 3 do 10, z naklonom 42,2 2 mV/pH. Odzivni čas elektrode je manj kot 10 sekund.
W/WO3 elektroda daje prav tako dober in ponovljiv odziv potenciometričnih titracij ter ima delovno območje od pH 3 do 10, z naklonom 39,4 1 mV/pH. Odzivni čas je 10 sekund.
Vse tri elektrode smo preizkusili tudi v PIA. Elektrode se v pretočni injekcijski analizi dobro in ponovljivo odzivajo na spremembe pH, največji vpliv na odziv imajo pretok, sestava nosilnega toka in volumen injiciranega vzorca.

The purpose of the diploma thesis was to determine the potentiometric properties of the molybdenum and tungsten electrode surface. The response time, storage conditions, the repeatability of prepared electrodes as well as the area in which their response to pH changes was linear and their applicability in the flow systems was studied.
The molybdenum electrode present applicability in acid-base potentiometric titrations. Its response time is less than 10 seconds. The working area, where the response was linear, was between the pH value 3 and 10 with a slope value 41,7 2 mV/pH.
The tungsten electrode demonstrates a good and reproducible response in potentiometric titrations. Through direct potentometric measurements we have determined that the pH area in which the electrode responses linear was between 3 and 10 with a slope value 42,2 2 mV/pH. The response time was less than 10 seconds.
The W/WO3 electrode has also showed a good and reproducible response in potentiometric titrations and it has a working area between pH 3 and 10 with a slope value 39,4 1 mV/pH. Its response time is 10 seconds.
All three electrodes were also tested in the different flow systems. The electrodes used in the flow injection analysis present reproducible response to pH changes. The response was affected by the composition of the carrier stream, flow speed and by the volume of the injected sample. |
