Abstract

Doktorska disertacija predstavlja način izbire optimalnega hladiva za potrebe delovanja visoko temperaturnih toplotnih črpalk v sistemih daljinskega ogrevanja stavb in priprave hladilne vode s hladilno napravo za namene hlajenja industrijskih procesov. Pri optimalni izbiri hladiva so upoštevane mednarodno priznane listine s področja varovanja okolja, termo-fizikalne lastnosti hladiv in obratovalni pogoji kompresorjev. Za potrebe ogrevanja so prikazane tri različne izvedbe visoko temperaturne toplotne črpalke in sicer; enostopenjska toplotna črpalka, dvostopenjska toplotna črpalka z razpenjalnikom in dvostopenjska toplotna črpalka s prenosnikom toplote.

Secondary title: Optimal choise of refrigerants for the need of function of high temperature heat pumps and coolings systems
Secondary abstract: The doctoral dissertation presents the method of choosing the optimal refrigerant for the functioning of high-temperature heat pumps in systems for district heating of buildings and the preparation of chilled water using a cooling system intended for the cooling of industrial processes. Internationally acknowledged documents from the fields of environment protection, thermo-physical characteristics of refrigerants and operational conditions for compressors are strictly followed when choosing the optimal refrigerant. For heating, three different types of high-temperature heat pumps are presented: a single stage heat pump, a two stage heat pump with a flash expander, and a two stage heat pump with a heat transmitter. For each type the optimal refrigerant and the standard compressor version are determined. The choosing of the refrigerant and the size of the compressor for the cooling system used for the preparation of chilled water is presented in detail. The same goes for the method of calculating the replacement of the refrigerant in the existing cooling system used for the preparation of iced water. Also the model for determining the optimal mixture of two refrigerants with the purpose of achieving better characteristics of heat pumps and coolingsystems is presented. For the optimal refrigerant with different typesof heat pumps, an economic analysis of the investment in relation to the refrigerant evaporation temperature is done. Furthermore, the economic effect of the replacement of the ozone-depleting refrigerant in the cooling system used for the preparation of iced water is presented.
