Abstract
Diplomska naloga je nastala kot plod ideje pomoči pri nadzoru starejših ljudi, med katerim je tudi zaznavanje padca, kateri pogosto predstavljajo nevarnost za zdravje starejših ljudi. Najprej smo se lotili študije padca nasploh, nato pregledali že obstoječe rešitve in implementirali svojo aplikacijo, ki se od ostalih ločuje predvsem po tem, da za delovanje ne potrebuje drugega kot mobilni telefon z vgrajenim pospeškometrom, zaželjen pa je še sprejemnik GPS.
Aplikacija je namenjena predvsem starejšim osebam in od njih ne zahteva niti posebnega znanja, niti interakcije z napravo. Beleženje in analiza podatkov potekata v ozadju, ob zaznanem padcu aplikacija opozori uporabnika, nato pa prek sporočila SMS še svojce, prijatelje ali druge ustrezne osebe.
V diplomi so najprej opisane osnove za algoritem za zaznavo padca in že obstoječi algoritmi, nato implementacija aplikacije v Javi, algoritem za zaznavo in na koncu rezultati testiranj aplikacije.

Secondary abstract: |
This diploma is a product of a idea to help to control elderly and detecting potentially risky falls, as a threat to the health of elderly. We studied characteristics of falls in general, reviewed existing solutions and implemented our own application, which differs from others that it does not need anything more than a mobile phone with built-in accelerometer. A GPS reciever is desirable for the application to work.
The application is mainly designed for elderly and does not require special skills or interaction with the device. Recording and analysis of data runs in the background, while user, users's friends and relatives are alerted if a fall is detected.
The basics of algorithms for fall an existing algorithms are described in the first section of this diploma, after that we describe the implementation of the application in Java, the algorithm for fall detection and results of testing. |
