Abstract
Priča smo največji revoluciji v informacijski tehnologiji po uvedbi interneta,to je virtualizacija ali računalništvo v oblaku. Poslovni sistemi se selijo v tako imenovane oblake, medtem ko so industrijski računalniški sistemi še bolj konservativni in se v večini še vedno poslužujejo klasičnih strežniških sistemov. Namen magistrskega dela je opisati izvedbo virtualizacije v industrijske računalniške sisteme. Delo opisuje osnove virtualizacije in kronologijo prenosa SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Aquisition) sistema v virtualno okolje. Magistrsko delo v uvodnem delu opisuje virtualizacijsko tehnologijo, njene komponente, funkcije in značilnosti. Opisana je analiza stanja pred in po uvajanju virtualizacije, težave pri uvajanju in reševanje le-teh. Posebna pozornost je namenjena prestavitvi SCADA sistema in vseh pripadajočih povezav v virtualno okolje. V zaključku je povzeta učinkovitost novega sistema, analiza stroškov in predlogiza nadaljnje delo.

Secondary abstract: |
We are witnessing the biggest revolution in the field of information technology after the Internet was introduced. It is called virtualization or cloud computing. Business systems are moving into so called clouds while the industrial computer systems are still more conservative and most are still relying on traditional server systems. The purpose of my final work is introducing virtualization technology of the industrial computer systems. It describes the chronology of the transfer of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Aquisition) system of Termoelektrarna Brestanica in a virtual environment. My final work in the introductory section describes the virtualization technology, its components, functions and features. The analysis of current situation before and after introduction of virtualization,problems and solutions are also stated in my final work. Further analysis of the situation describes the main types of communication links in the SCADA system of Termoelektrarna Brestanica. Special attention is given to the transfer of the SCADA system and all its components in to the virtual environment. Performance of the new system, cost analysis and proposals for further work are described in conclusion. |
