diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študija
Abstract
Diplomsko delo sprva predstavlja teoretični del o operativnem managementu in kadrovski funkciji.

OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT AND HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT IN ENTERPRISE X D.O.O. |

ABSTRACT
Competition has become a very common and normal concept. Companies compete among each other and fight to win a place in the market. The success of a company depends largely on its employees. People with relevant experience, education, know-how and abilities should occupy relevant posts. Managers and HRM play a crucial role in this. HRM is becoming increasingly central to companies. It is the only element of a company that plays a double faceted role: it has a business and an organizational function. It could just as well be said that HRM plays the most crucial role in a company. An important part of managing human resources are also recruitment planning and development of human resources, which are still underdeveloped in Slovenia. Companies which fail to plan their human resources can be faced with an inappropriate structure of its human resources. This can lead to absenteeism and fluctuation, and consequently to inferior results and
non-competitiveness. A successful company combines operational management with HRM.
The thesis consists of a theoretical part dealing with operational management and defining the role of HRM. In its empirical part a company X d.o.o. is presented. The company is registered in Slovenia, but wholly foreign owned (headquarters outside Slovenia). The management of the company is entirely directed from its headquarters in the foreign country. A survey was carried out in order to identify the level of motivation and efforts, leadership, internal communication and information, as well the level of job satisfaction. |
