Abstract

Secondary title: 3D digitalisation procedure in application of vessel features analysis
Secondary abstract: In diploma the course of spatial scanning of ship hull on a diminished ship model in scale 1:10 is presented. We will be finding the deviation of generated CAD model in comparison to 3D scans. At the end the procedure of the analyzing process for finding hydrostatics and ship stability in ORCA3D software is represented. Results, gained from the analysis of hydrostatics and ship stability with original hull shape, can serve us as orientation results for possible corrections in constructional and design process, as well as during the procedure of finding seaworthy characteristics of the ship, which are necessary for ship navigation, tonnage, etc. The method of the entire procedure, described in this diploma, can also be applicable to real seaworthy objects in size 25 m or more.
