magistrsko delo
Abstract
Obarvane odpadne vode iz tekstilne industrije, so lahko zelo obremenjene z različnimi tipi barvil, imajo različne pH vrednosti, povišane KPK vrednosti in so visokih temperatur. S sodobnimi postopki (kemijsko-oksidacijskimi) lahko učinkovito razbarvamo takšne vrste odpadnih vod npr. obdelava z ozonom (O3) in vodikovim peroksidom. Namen naloge je bil raziskati učinke oksidacijskih tehnologij, predvsem ozoniranja ter sledenje razgradnim produktom. V ta namen smo uporabili komercialna tekstilna barvila in sicer: direktno oksazinsko barvilo (C.I. Direct Blue 106), reaktivno antrakinonsko barvilo (C.I. ReactiveBlue 49) in kislo azo barvilo (C.I. Acide Blue 193).

Ozonation of coloured model waters whith determination of oxazine dye degradation product |
Secondary abstract: |
Coloured textile wastewaters contain very different types of dye, they have different pH values, increased COD values and usually have high temperatures. With contemporary procedures (chemical-oxidation) we are able to effectively discolourate such wastewaters by using ozone and hydrogen peroxide. The aim of the research was to study the effectivity of oxidation technology, mainly of ozone and analyse degradation products. For this purpose we used three different textile dyes with different chromophor groups: direct oxazine dye (C.I. Direct Blue 106), reactive anthraquinone dye (C.I. Reactive Blue 49) andacid azo dye (C.I. Acid Blue 193). We ozonated all three dyes, but we investigated in detail only the degradation products of the direct dye with oxazine chromophore (C.I. Direct Blue 106) because no degradation product by ozonation on such type of dye has been known in literature yet. The performed experimental work includes efficiency study of decolourisation processes on the basis of absorbance, pH value and conductivity measurements together with determination of optimal conditions of decolourisation by ozonation method. This part also includes complex analysis methods to determine decomposition products of the oxazine dye, such as: UV/VIS spectrofotometry, IR spectroscopy, ion determination spectrofotometry, IC chromotography and MS spectrometry in combination with liquid chromotography. The results show that ozonation is an appropriate method for decolourisation of such type of dyes, as decoloured wastewater only needs to be neutralized and it is suitable to be released in rivers or to be reused in technology processes. In that way we could effectively reduce the consumption of drinking and technology water. |
