Abstract

V diplomski nalogi sta teoretično opredeljena pojma celovitih informacijskih rešitev in elektronskega poslovanja. Celovite informacijske rešitve in elektronsko poslovanje so v tem času skorajda ena izmed najpomembnejših prednosti za podjetje, ki mu prinaša minimiziranje časa in stroškov poslovanja. Pri uvajanju nove rešitve je pomembno, da podjetje izbere pravo celovito rešitev, glede na svoje potrebe, in si s tem zagotovi konkurenčnost. Žal je veliko takšnih projektov neuspešnih, kar je predvsem posledica podcenjevanja njihove kompleksnosti. Za celovite programske rešitve, ki so podrobneje opisane v diplomski nalogi, je značilno, da ob uvajanju za podjetja predstavljajo veliko finačno obremenitev, ki se lahko podjetjem maščuje s propadom podjetja, če ne izberejo prave rešitve.

Secondary abstract:	ABSTRACT This thesis focuses on a theoretical definition of two concepts, namely global Enterprise Resource Planning solutions and electronic commerce. Enterprise Resource Planning solutions and electronic commerce nowadays represent some of the most important advantages for a company, as they are time-saving and minimize operating costs. When a company introduces new solutions, it is vital that it chooses the right global solution, considering its needs and ensure the solutions provide for its competitiveness. Unfortunately, many such projects failed, mainly due to an underestimation of their complexity. Enterprise Resource Planning solutions, which are further described in the thesis, are usually a great financial burden for the companies introducing them. They may backfire on the companies and cause them to collapse in case they do not choose the right solution.
