Spletne storitve na Windows Mobile in Android

Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo pregledali uporabo spletnih storitev na mobilnih telefonih. Osredotočili smo se na telefone z operacijskim sistemom Windows Mobile in Android. Slednja smo vzeli pod drobnogled in raziskali zmožnosti za povezovanje s spletnimi storitvami. V okviru tega smo raziskali povezovanje s spletnimi storitvami SOAP in REST. Prav tako smo raziskali, kako lahko vzpostavimo varno povezavo preko obeh. V praktičnem delu diplomske naloge smo prikazali, kako implementirati povezovanje na spletne storitve. Pri tem smo tudi pokazali, kako bi lahko to zmogljivost uporabili za bolj praktično aplikacijo, ki izkorišča GPS na telefonu.

Secondary abstract:	In presented diploma work we looked at how the current mobile phones connect to web services. We focused our reaserch on phones with the Windows Mobile and Android operating system and looked at the capabilities to connect to different web services. To furher look into the mentioned capabilites, we reasearched the connectivity to both SOAP and REST web services. We also researched how to establish a secure connection on both platforms and both types of web services. In the practical part of the diploma we showed how to connect to web services on both types of mobile phones. We also made a more useful application which utilized the GPS on the mobile phone.
