Abstract

Diplomska naloga predstavlja energetsko učinkovito prenovo stanovanjskih stavb kot vse bolj okoljsko potrebno investicijo in nekatere že preizkušene stroškovno učinkovite ukrepe, s katerimi pozitivno vplivamo na kakovost bivanja. V teoretičnem delu so na osnovi izbranih evropskih projektov povzeti cilji energetske prenove, podprti z zakonodajnimi okviri EU.

Secondary title: Assessment of energy-efficient refurbishment of residental buildings on the quality of living
Secondary abstract: This thesis shows the energy-efficient refurbishment of residential building to be a more and more environmentally necessary investment. It deals with some of the already tested cost-efficient measures which have a positive effect on the quality of living. The theoretical part uses past EU-projects, to summarize the goals of energy-efficient refurbishment set by the EU. The thesis then focuses on energy-efficient refurbishment in Slovenia by addressing relevant legal frameworks, incentives and obstacles. It then uses positive refurbishment examples from various EU environments, including the Slovene one, to discuss refurbishment in practice. The case study of this thesis focuses on the residential building located at Ulica Veljka Vlahoviča in Maribor. Using building physics calculations it presents measures for an energy-efficient refurbishment of the chosen unit in this residential building. Based on the current state the cost-analysis of necessary measures has been conducted which has estimated the amount of energy which would have been saved on the account of the energy-efficient refurbishment thus making the investment economically viable.
