Abstract

Secondary title: Operation of hot water boilers without manual control according to TRD 604
Secondary abstract: In order to achieve a higher safety and reduction of personnel as well as supervision costs of steam and hot water boiler operation, regulations for unattended steam and hot water plant operation, so called TRD 604 guidelines, were introduced in Germany. They require an installation of special safety and regulating elements that take over control of the plant operation. There is a big interest in the unattended steam and hot water boiler operation in Slovenia too, however without a proper response in practice because such an operation is not allowed by our legislation yet.
