Secondary abstract: | This thesis deals with a reconstruction of a timber deck. A potential number of required reconstructions of timber decks is given. Further on three possible methods of reconstruction are presented and the most adequate one is chosen. Using a practical example, guidelines are given for the enhancement of old timber decks by designing a timber-concrete composite deck in such a way that it satisfies ultimate and serviceability limit states given by the standards that are in accordance with the Evaluation of mechanical resistance and stability of buildings. |
