Abstract

V diplomskem delu so predstavljene možnosti uporabe umetne inteligence, na kratko je opisana zgodovina le-te. Sledi opis in delovanje nevrona, ki je osnovni gradnik nevronske mreže. Podane so glavne karakteristike umetnih nevronskih mrež. Predstavljene so možnosti uporabe nevronskih mrež na različnih področjih. Na praktičnih primerih so predstavljene možnosti uporabe nevronskih mrež v proizvodnih okoljih, kar vključuje tako konvencionalne postopke obdelave kot so struženje, vrtanje, frezanje, kot tudi nekonvencionalne postopke, kot je uporaba elektroerozijske žične obdelave. Uporaba nevronskih mrež se je v vseh predstavljenih primerih izkazala kot uspešna rešitev.

Secondary title: Using of neural networks in manufacturing systems
Secondary abstract: In this diploma work I have presented the possibilities of using artificial intelligence as well as its brief history. A neuron as the elementary particle if neural network and its functioning have been described together with basic characteristics of neural networks in different fields. I have also included practical examples of possible uses of neural networks in manufacturing systems which comprise both conventional machining such as turning, drilling, boring and unconventional machining processes such as the using of WEDM (Wire electrical discharge machining). The using of neural networks has proved successful in all examples presented.
