Abstract

Proučevali smo vpliv dveh pogosto uporabljenih inhibitorjev, natrijevega nitrita in natrijevega fosfata, na nerjavno jeklo »1.4057« v raztopini H2SO4 s koncentracijo, c = 0,075 mol/L.

Secondary title: Synergistic inhibition effect of sodium salts on the kinetics of corrosion of '1.4057' stainless steel in the H2SO4 solution
Secondary abstract: We have studied the impact of two commonly used inhibitors, sodium nitrite and sodium phosphate, in stainless steel »1.4057« in the H2SO4 solution with concentration, c = 0.075 mol/L. Tests were performed at different temperatures and different concentrations of inhibitors. From determined weight loss, corrosion rate, inhibition efficiency, adsorption isotherms and activation energy were determined. We found that the corrosion rate decreases by increasing the inhibitor concentration, increases with temperature rise and that the efficiency of individual inhibitors increases with increase of their concentration, as well as the temperature of the medium.
