Abstract
Osemdeseta in sploh devetdeseta leta prejšnjega stoletja so pomenila revolucijo na področju informatike in interneta. Takrat se je pokazalo, da je internet medij neomejenih možnosti. Razvoj globalnega računalniškega omrežja interneta pomeni prelomnico v razvoju komunikacij. Njegova univerzalnost, velika razširjenost, dostopnost in nizka cena priključitve in dela v omrežju so povzročili, da iz tržišča izpodriva vse ostale načine elektronske komunikacije.
Zaradi dolgih čakalnih vrst pred bančnimi okenci, slabega pregleda nad poslovanjem in slabše informiranosti svojih komitentov so banke začele razmišljati, kako svoje storitve na čim lažji in čim hitrejši način prinesti k svojim komitentom na dom, kako torej vpeljati sisteme za poslovanje na daljavo. Tako se je razvilo elektronsko bančništvo, ki ga pojmujemo e-bančništvo in ki obsega mnogo storitev.
E-bančništvo omogoča komitentu hitro in kakovostno opravljanje bančnih storitev preko svetovnega spleta. Vse več ljudi se poslužuje opravljanju bančnih storitev preko e-bančništva, saj jim le ta omogoča 24 urno dostopnost, časovno neomejenost, neodvisnost od odpiralnega časa banke, ter cenovno ugodnost.
Uvajanje poslovanja preko interneta v banko je smiselno takrat, ko je dosežen večji marketinški učinek (oz. da je banka v koraku s konkurenco) in ko so s tem doseženi nižji stroški. Tako je poslovanje preko interneta za banko smiselno predvsem na tistih področjih, na katerih se pojavlja zelo veliko podobnih operacij, torej področjih, ki so povezana z osnovno dejavnostjo banke: poslovno bančništvo, investicijsko bančništvo, ukvarjanje z nepremičninami,…
Dvom o varnosti je vsekakor manjši kot v preteklosti, je pa dejansko še prisoten. Absolutne varnosti torej ni, zato je osrednjega pomena pri internetnem bančništvu njegova varnost. Internet poleg vseh prednosti ponuja tudi veliko možnosti za zlorabo podatkov, zato temu področju banke posvečajo veliko pozornost. Vendar pa ni dovolj, da se aplikacije za varnost transakcij samo razvijejo, temveč jih je potrebno tudi nenehno posodabljati in odpravljati napake, ki se ugotovijo tekom uporabe. Tudi ni dovolj, če za varnost e-bančništva skrbi le banka, temveč mora za varnost skrbeti tudi uporabnik. Vsak uporabnik bi moral poznati osnove računalniške varnosti, da lahko varno posluje pri delu s programi za elektronsko banko.
Konkurenca na področju poslovanja z denarjem in kapitalom je vse večja. Meje se širijo, prihajajo močnejši, manjši se združujejo, širi se obseg ponudbe in instrumentov. Zmanjšati stroške poslovanja je postala obsesija, hoditi v koraku s tehnološkim razvojem pa neizogibna potreba. To je postalo glavni motiv dinamičnega bančništva.
Postavljajo se nove meje in nov izziv za bančništvo. Poslovanje s prebivalstvom in informiranje, fakturiranje in plačevanje računov, bo postalo rutina, ki jo bo prevzemala avtomatizacija, papir pa bo izginil. Banke se bodo posvetile planiranju, analitičnim poslom in iskanju novih priložnosti. Ravno tukaj je rezerva, to je prepustiti administracijo računalnikom in ljudi zaposliti na kreativnih področjih. Kot vsaka tehnologija doslej, bo tudi to zahtevalo nove kadrovske spremembe in drugačen profil bančnega uslužbenca.

The eighties and especially the nineties of the previous century meant a revolution in the field of informatics and internet. Then it was shown that the internet is a medium of unlimited possibilities. The development of computer network means a turning point in communication development. Its universality, big dilatation, accessibility and low price of installation and usage made the internet to replace the oter methods of electronic communications.
Because of the long queues in front of bank counters, bad overlook of business operation and less well information to their customers the banks started to think how to expand their services in the easiest and fastest way and to bring them to customers homes. That is how the online banking (e-banking) was developt.
E-banking enables the customer fast and quality doing of banking services with some help of the internet. More and more people is using online banking, it is possible to use it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Initiation into business operation through internet makes sense when the effect of marketing is more profitable (i.e. the bank is in bigger competitive position) and when the costs are lower. E-banking is reasonable mainly on those spheres where all the others similar bank operations appears; spheres, that are in close connection with main bank activity: business banking, investement banking, real estate operations,...
The doubt about safety is defenetly minor than before, but it's still there. Absolute security is still not guaranteed, that is why the main question of online banking is its security. The internet, besides all advantages, also offers a lot chances of its abuse of information. Due to that, the banks pay a lot of attention. It is not enough for the safety applications of transactions just to develop, but it's also a demand to update and correct those errors. For e-banking security is responsible not just the bank but also its users. Each user should know basic computer security to do business online.
Competition on the sphere of business with money and assets is getting bigger. The limits are getting wider and wider, there is more bigger companies, smaller are consolidating and the range of offers is increasing. Decreasing of business expenses has became an obsession and to keep in step with the times of technological progress is an inevitable need. That became the main motive of dinamic banking.
Set the new limits and also new challenge for the banking. Doing business with population, informing, do invoices and paying bills will become a routine, which is going to be taken by the automatisation; papers and documents will dissapear. Banks will commit themselves to planning, doing analitic business and searching new opportunities. The reserve is in letting the administration to the computers and employing people on creative fields. This will demand new personnel changes and differnet banker profile. |
