Razvoj GPS storitev na mobilnih komunikacijskih terminalih

Abstract

V diplomski nalogi predstavljamo uporabo GPS-GSM sistema v povezavi z razvojem aplikacije, ki nam omogoča lociranje položaja mobilnega telefona z vgrajenim GPS modulom. Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz dveh sklopov; v prvem sklopu predstavljamo razvoj GPS sistema, ter najpogostejše storitve na tem področju. Predstavljamo tudi idejne primere aplikacijskih rešitev in različne GPS naprave, ki se uporabljajo v povezavi z GPRS mobilnimi sistemi ali brez. Podrobno opišemo tudi funkcionalno delovanje zastavljene GPS aplikacije in njeno uporabnost. Na koncu podajamo še funkcionalno uporabo GPS sistemov in način njihovega delovanja. V drugem sklopu diplome najprej predstavljamo Java ogrodij LWUIT in LOCIFY, ki so zelo primerna za razvoj GPS storitev na mobilnih komunikacijskih terminalih, v nadaljevanju pa še potek razvoja in izdelavo zastavljene GPS storitve.

Secondary abstract:	In this diploma thesis we focus on the use of GPS-GSM system in connection with the application, which allows us to locate the position of a mobile device with the in-built GPS module. Diploma is divided into two parts; the first section, in its first three points, outlines the most common commercial solutions in this area, provides some examples and presents different GPS devices that are used in connection with a GPRS mobile systems or may be used without it. The operation and utility applications designed for practical purposes is described in detail. Here we also find the basic functional use of GPS systems and the course of their operation. The second section of the diploma thesis describes LWUIT and LOCIFY software tools with which we created the application in question. Furthermore, we describe the process of making the application and also describe some problems and solutions we have encountered in making the application.
