Secondary abstract: | A surface reconstruction from 3D point cloud is considered in this thesis. The point cloud is structurally unrelated set of 3D points, which are gathered during the 3D scanning process. Because point clouds are not useful for further processing, suitable 3D surfaces have to be created. Two novel surface reconstruction methods are proposed in this work: an approximate and an exact. Both methods are analyzed for time complexity and compared with the existing solutions. |
