Abstract

Globalno segrevanje ozračja s toplogrednimi plini, druga okoljska onesnaženja ter pomanjkanje fosilnih goriv so razlog, da stremimo k uporabi jedrskih in drugih alternativnih oblik energije za proizvodnjo električne energije. Jedrske elektrarne veljajo ob normalnih obratovalnih pogojih za ene izmed najbolj varnih, zanesljivih in predvsem čistih virov električne energije, ki razen z jedrskimi odpadki dodatno ne obremenjujejo okolja. Na varno obratovanje jedrskih elektrarn imajo velik vpliv tudi kabli, preko katerih potekajo vsi procesi v elektrarni, zato smo se v diplomski nalogi osredotočili na dejavnike, ki dolgoročno škodujejo celovitosti kabla in vodijo v njegov propad, kar na kratko imenujemo dejavniki staranja kabla. Na koncu smo v programskem paketu Visual Basic 2008® napisali program, ki smo ga poimenovali Kabelkius, ki računa parametre kabla in oceni sprejemljivost le teh.

Secondary abstract: Global warming by greenhouse gases, lack of fossil fuels and various other environmental pollution due to fossil fuels are the reasons that we strive for the usage of nuclear and other alternative forms of energy to produce electricity. Nuclear power plants are under normal operating conditions one of the most secure, reliable and above all clean sources of electricity which besides nuclear waste do not additionally burden the environment. Nuclear power cables significantly affect the safe operation of nuclear power plants and all the processes at the plant are passing through, thus we considered the aging factors that adversely affect long-term integrity of the cables and lead to its degradation, tu put it briefly cable aging factors. At last, we created program called Kabelkius with the software package Visual Basic 2008® to calculate cable parameters and assess the acceptability thereof.
