Abstract

V diplomski nalogi so podane splošne informacije o poroznih materialih z vzdolžnimi porami. Opisana sta postopka izdelave in verifikacije numeričnega modela, v kateri so preverjeni globalna velikost končnega elementa, globina modela in število sestavnih osnovnih celic modela. Z računalniškimi simulacijami po metodi končnih elementov sta določena inženirski modul elastičnosti in inženirska meja tečenja poroznega litega železa z vzdolžnimi porami. Parametri, ki so v parametrični numerični analizi upoštevani so poroznost materiala, topologija por in smer obremenjevanja materiala. Numerični rezultati so primerjani z eksperimentalnimi. Nakazane so možnosti za nadaljnje raziskave na področju numerične analize poroznih gradiv z vzdolžnimi porami.

Secondary title: Characterisation of mechanical properties of porous materials with longitudinal pores parametric computer simulations
Secondary abstract: In this diploma thesis general information on porous materials with longitudinal pores is given. Making and verification of numerical model is described, in which global finite element size, model depth and number of model’s component basic cells are verified. Engineering Young’s modulus and engineering yield strength are defined for porous cast iron with longitudinal pores using finite element method in computer simulations. Parameters considered in parametric numerical analysis according to finite element method are material porosity, topology of pores and loading direction of material. Numerical results are compared to experimental. Possibilities for further research on numerical analysis of porous materials with longitudinal pores are suggested.
