Abstract

V dinamičnem okolju v katerem živimo je pojav konfliktov neizbežen proces. Do slednjih pogosto prihaja že v nas samih, še pogosteje pa v okolju v katerem delujemo. Vzroke za nastanek konfliktov najdemo predvsem v neprilagojenosti posameznikov na spremembe v okolju oziroma na delovnem mestu. Danes tako ne najdemo več podjetja v katerem ne bi prihajalo do konfliktov. Reševanje konfliktov v podjetju je kompleksen proces, katerega se morejo managerji lotevati razumsko in sistematično. Prav slednji so tisti, ki morajo v podjetju imeti največ znanja z obravnavanega področja. Ironično je, da konflikti prinašajo s seboj tudi dobre strani, katere mora dober manager poznati, ter te strani izkoristiti v svoj prid. Žal pa se pogosto izpostavljajo le slabe strani konfliktov, ki zavirajo tekoč delovni proces. Izbrano tematiko smo obravnavali na podjetju Odeja, v kateri smo izvedli poslovno raziskavo. Zanimalo nas je kako zaposleni v podjetju razumejo konflikte, kje vidijo vzroke za njih in kako jih rešujejo. Žal ugotavljamo, da je znanje iz področja managementa konfliktov pri zaposlenih skopo, zaradi česar je potrebno s strani vodstva nameniti večjo pozornost reševanju te problematike.

Secondary abstract: We live in a dynamic environment where conflicts are an inevitable process. Often they occur in us but more frequently in our work environment. Conflicts appear mainly because individuals cannot adapt to changes in their environment or workplace. Consequently, all types of businesses today have to face and deal with conflicts. Conflict resolution in a business is a complex process. Managers must tackle conflicts reasonably and systematically, as well as possess the extensive knowledge to address them. Ironically, conflicts can also create positive effects, but good managers need to be aware of these in order to take advantage of them. Unfortunately, the focus is usually on the negative effects of conflicts, which slows down the working process. We carried out research on the chosen theme in the business Odeja. We were interested in how the employees understand conflicts, perceive causes of conflicts, and how they resolve them. Our research showed that employees have scarce knowledge of conflict management. Based on this we conclude that management should pay greater attention to conflict and its resulting effects in order to solve this problem.
