| Secondary abstract: | The aim of thesis was to research the functioning of level of detail (LOD) of geometric models and demonstrate the possibility of using the tool to use Cinema 4D plugin SimpleMakerPro. LOD is an important tool for maintaining interactivity. LOD is trying to overcome the complexity and capacity of governing the amount of detail models used in the virtual world. View-dependent LOD solve problems with large objects. Hierarchical LOD can solve the problem with small objects (objects merge into lots, at a sufficient distance, to simplify the sets and not individual items). Despitethe advantages of CLOD and view-dependent LOD, traditional DLOD have the far most common approach in practice. |
