Abstract

Podjetje Unior d. d. je inovativno slovensko podjetje, katerega osnovna dejavnost je preoblikovanje vročega jekla. Hkrati se v podjetju ukvarjamo z izdelovanjem CNC strojev, ročnega orodja, turizmom in izdelki iz sintranih prahov. Zaradi vse večjih zahtev trga in nižjih cen izdelkov, smo v podjetju prisiljeni k nenehnemu izboljševanju procesov, da bi obdržali konkurenčno prednost na svetovnem trgu. Eden od načinov za lažje doseganje zastavljenih ciljev je prenova proizvodnih procesov in postopkov. Odločili smo se, da bomo skozi diplomsko nalogo izboljšali kakovost in gravuro utopa. Zaradi ugotovitve, da se cene naših proizvodov nenehno znižujejo, je bilo potrebno procese izboljšati, spremeniti v tej smeri, da smo dobili boljše izdelke oz. meritve. Rezultate, ki smo jih s pomočjo prenove gravure utopa pridobili, smo prikazali v diplomski nalogi tako kvalitativno kot tudi kvantitativno (zmanjšanje stroškov, prihranek časa, idr.).

Secondary title: Quality improvements by optimizing the design of fork dies
Secondary abstract: UNIOR d. d. is an innovative Slovenian company whose core business is the transformation of hot steel, it is also engaged in the manufacture of CNC machine tools, hand tools, and products of sintered powder. The company has also got a tourism division. Given the increasing demands of the market for lower prices of products, the company is forced to continually improve the processes in order to sustain a competitive advantage in the global market. One way of helping to achieve the objectives is the modernization of production processes and procedures. We have decided that we are going to improve the quality of engraving dies with this thesis. The finding is that as the price of our products is constantly decreasing, it is necessary to improve processes – the result is that we get better products or improved measurements. The results that we have obtained through the renovation of engraving dies, as demonstrated in this thesis are both qualitative and quantitative (cost reduction, time saving, etc...).
