Abstract

Diplomsko delo prikazuje in obravnava eno izmed ključnih nalog Proizvodnega managementa pri načrtovanju in vodenju proizvodnje - to je upravljanje z vhodnimi zalogami materiala. V prvem delu diplomskega dela je prikazan teoretičen pomen zalog in njihovo optimiranje, ki je danes ključno za dobro poslovanje podjetja. Pri pisanju diplomskega dela smo teoretična izhodišča primerjali z izkušnjami podjetja Transpak d.o.o., ki smo ga predstavili v drugem delu diplomske naloge. V tretjem delu, predstavljamo izračune potrebnih parametrov pri optimiziranju zalog vhodnega materiala na primerih podjetja Transpak d.o.o.

Secondary abstract:	The thesis shows and consider one of Operations Management’s vital tasks in Production Planning and Management – the Inventory Control of Input Material. The first part of our thesis describes the theoretical importance of inventory and its optimization, which is the key point in successful operation of an enterprise. The theoretical starting-points have been compared with operation experiences of Transpak d.o.o. – an enterprise that is fully described in the second part of our thesis. The third part of the thesis contains calculations of requisite parameters that were needed for optimizing Input Material Inventory in the case of Transpak d.o.o.
