Abstract

V diplomski nalogi sem opisal teoretični in praktični del ultrazvočnega varjenja. Najprej sem opisal ultrazvok in kako ga ustvarjamo. Navedel sem tudi vse najbolj uveljavljenje tipe varjenja, osnovne pojme o varjenju in zgodovino razvoja varjenja. Pri ultrazvočnem varjenju se mehansko nihanje spreminja v toploto. Navedel in opisal sem potek varjenja kakor tudi vse sestavne dele ultrazvočnega varilnega stroja, kot so npr. ojačevalnik, pretvornik in sonotroda. Z ultrazvočnim varjenjem spajamo kovinske, plastične, keramične in druge materiale. Uporablja se v veliko panogah, kot so računalniška, elektronska, avtomobilska, letalska, zdravstvena in embalaţna industrija. Na koncu diplomske naloge sem prikazal tudi praktični zgled ultrazvočnega varjenja nosilke tesnila za splakovalnik, ki ga izdeluje podjetje Geberit v Rušah.

Secondary abstract: In the thesis I described theoretical and practical part of ultrasonic welding. At first I described the ultrasound and explained how it is created. I mentioned the most used types of welding, the basic concepts of welding and welding development in history. In ultrasonic welding mechanical oscillations are transformed into heat. I described the course of welding and all the components of ultrasonic welding machine, for example, booster, converter and sonotrode. Ultrasonic welding joins metals, plastics, ceramics and other materials. It is used in many industries such as computer, electronic, automotive, aerospace, medical and packaging industry. At the end of the thesis I presented a practical example of ultrasonic welding in a component of cistern (kettle) manufactured by Geberit in Ruse (Slovenia).
