Abstract

Diplomsko delo zajema delno realizacijo vodenja 4-osnega mehanizma, ki bo omogočal 3D rezkanje manjših objektov iz mehkih materialov. Vodenje gibanja mehanizma je izvedeno z uporabo krmilnika vodenja DMC podjetja Galil Motion Control. Programska aplikacija sistema, ki je izvedena s programskim orodjem LabVIEW, omogoča vnos ukaznih komand rezkalnega stroja v obliki standardne G-kode, pridobljene iz CAD/CAM orodja in pretvorbo le-teh v programski jezik krmilnika vodenja. Diplomsko delo opisuje potek pretvorbe G-kode v ukazne komande krmilnika vodenja, opis uporabljenih ukazov G-kode ter krmilnika vodenja in primer celotnega postopka pridobitve G-kode iz 3D CAD modela.

Secondary title: Control of CNC milling machine using G-code
Secondary abstract: This diploma work includes a partial realization of a 4-axis control mechanism, that will allow 3D milling of small objects made of soft materials. Motion control of mechanism is implemented using Galil's DMC motion controller. Software application, which is implemented using LabVIEW, enables entering commands in the form of a standard G-code, derived from CAD/CAM tools, and converting them into Galil's DMC motion controll programming language. Diploma work also includes a description of the conversion of G-code commands into the motion control programming language, a description of the G-code and motion controller commands and an example of a whole process of generation of G-code from a 3D CAD mode.
