Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo primerjali izvedbi sončnega kolektorja s paraboličnim in krožnim koritom. Primerjavo smo izvedli z uporabo računalniške dinamike tekočin v programskem paketu ANSYS. Ugotovili smo, da se izvedba s paraboličnim koritom pri zbiranju svetlobe obnese bolje, vendar pa je bolj občutljiva na spremembo vpadnega kota sevanja. Obe izvedbi tako slabo zbirata difuzno sevanje. Podali smo tudi lokalne razmere v sistemu, ki nakazujejo slabo zasnovo izvedbe s krožnim koritom ter nam pomagajo pri nadaljnji optimizaciji sistema. Za konec diplomskega dela smo predlagali še nekaj izboljšav na obstoječih izvedbah, ter opisali izvedbe, ki bi jih bilo vredno dodatno raziskati.

Secondary title: Numerical simulation of circle and parabolic configuration of solar collector
Secondary abstract: The circle and parabolic configuration of solar trough collector was compared in this diploma. The comparison was made using Computational Fluid Dynamics in program package ANSYS. The conclusion was that parabolic trough configuration is better at collecting light, but is more sensitive to changes in the angle of incidence. Both configurations are bad at collecting diffuse light. The differences in variables throughout the system were also presented. They indicate a bad design of circular trough and help us further optimize the system. For the end of diploma a few improvements on existing configurations were proposed and different configurations worth further exploration were described.
