Abstract

Odpadke moramo kategorizirati, preden jih odložimo na odlagališče. Na podlagi analize odpadka in iz nje izdelane ocene odpadka ugotovimo kam je možno odpadek odložiti. Odložimo jih lahko na odlagališča za inertne odpadke, odlagališča za nenevarne odpadke ali odlagališča za nevarne odpadke. Cilj diplomske naloge je določanje izbranih kovin v izlužkih granuliranih odpadnih materialov in žlinder z optično emisijsko spektroskopijo in induktivno sklopljeno plazmo, Izbrane kovine smo analizirali v odpadkih podjetja Acronija d.o.o.. Analizirali smo žlindre (črno in belo), prah z elektroobločne peči in škaje. Izvedli smo validacijo analizne metode in ovrednotili merilno negotovost. Cilj diplomske naloge je tudi izdelava navodila za delo, validacijskega poročila in poročila o merilni negotovosti. Ugotovili smo, da je metoda določanja izbranih kovin v izlužkih granuliranih odpadnih materialov in žlinder z optično emisijsko spektroskopijo in induktivno sklopljeno plazmo natančna, točna in primerna za ovrednotenje vsebnosti izbranih kovin v navedenih vzorcih in s tem za ustrezno karakterizacijo odpadkov.

Secondary title: Determination of selected metals in leachings of granular waste materials, slimes and slags by ICP-OES
Secondary abstract: The waste must be categorized before disposal at a landfill. Based on the analysis of the waste and its evaluation we determine where it can be disposed, like landfill for inert, non-hazardous or hazardous waste. The aim of this thesis is the specification of selected metals in the leachings of granular waste materials and slags by optical emission spectroscopy and inductively coupled plasma. The selected metals were analyzed in the waste produced by the company Acroni d.o.o.. We analyzed the slag (black and white), the dust from the electric arc furnace and the tub. We performed the validation of analytical methods and evaluated the measurement uncertainty. The aim of the thesis is also to create working instructions, validation reports and reports of measurement uncertainty. We have established that the method of determination of selected metals in the leachings of granular waste materials and slags by optical emission spectroscopy and inducively coupled plasma is precise, accurate and appropiate for the evaluation of the content of selected metals in those samples, and thus proper for waste categorization.
