Abstract

Zavarovalništvo je pomembna gospodarska panoga ter pomemben del finančnega sistema, katerega osnovna funkcija je zbiranje denarnih sredstev. Nedavni napredek v tehnologiji je korenito vplival na zavarovalništvo, saj je veliko zavarovalnic začelo splet uporabljati v veliki meri za ustvarjanje prodaje in večanje števila svojih strank. E-poslovanje pomeni elektronsko izmenjavo podatkov in vključuje uporabo vseh oblik informacijske in komunikacijske tehnologije. Z uvajanjem elektronskega poslovanja želijo podjetja doseči predvsem širjenje tržišča ter vstop na globalni trg, ustvarjanje novih poslovnih priložnosti in nižje stroške poslovanja. E-zavarovalništvo lahko opredelimo kot uporabo interneta in informacijskih tehnologij v proizvodnji in distribuciji zavarovalnih storitev. Zavarovalnice se pri uvajanju elektronskega zavarovalništva srečujejo z določenimi ovirami kot so stališča njihovih strank ter kompleksnost zavarovalnih polic. Uspeh prodaje zavarovalnih storitev preko spleta je odvisen predvsem od oglaševanja, ki vključuje zraven pasivnih medijev še razne oglaševalske pasice, elektronsko pošto ter spletne kupone. Z uvajanjem e-poslovanja si zavarovalnice prizadevajo čim ceneje in uspešnejše izvesti poslovne procese.

Secondary abstract:	Insurance is an important economic sector and an important part of the financial system, whose primary function is to collect money. Recent advances in technology have profoundly affected the insurance industry, because many insurance companies began to use the internet extensively to generate sales and increase the number of its customers. E-business means electronic interchange of data and it includes all forms of information technologies and communication technologies. With the introduction of electronic business, businesses want to achieve in particular the spread of markets and enter the global market, creating new business opportunities and reduce operating costs. E-insurance can be defined as the use of internet and information technologies in the production and distribution of insurance services. Insurance companies in the introduction of electronic insurance are faced with certain obstacles such as the position of their clients and the complexity of insurance policies. The success of the sale of insurance services over the internet mainly depends on advertising, which includes besides passive media various advertising banners, emails and online coupons. With the introduction of e-business insurance companies seek cheap and efficient performance of business processes.
