Abstract

V diplomski nalogi bomo opisali nivo informacijske varnosti v slovenskih podjetjih, ki jo bomo ugotovili in analizirali na podlagi opravljene raziskave. Obsega dva dela, teoretični in praktični. V teoretičnem delu se bomo osredotočili na sam pojem informacijske varnosti ter opisali in predstavili standarde s področja informacijske varnosti ter obrazložili, kakšen pomen ima informacijska varnost v podjetju. Pri praktičnem delu pa bomo predstavili ugotovitve, ki smo jih dobili na podlagi raziskave, ki smo jo opravili v različnih slovenskih podjetjih. S pomočjo raziskave smo prišli do ugotovitve, da se tudi slovenska podjetja vse bolj zavedajo pomena informacijske varnosti, saj posvečajo varovanju informacij precej pozornosti. V večini ne sledijo informacijskim standardom, skrbijo pa za osnovno zaščito, ki je potrebna za uspešno varovanje informacij.

Secondary abstract:	In this thesis we describe the level of information security in Slovenian companies, which we will identify and analyze based on the results of performed studies. Thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part we will focus on the notion of information security where we will describe and present standards in the field of information security and explain the significance of information security in enterprise. In practical part we will present the findings which we obtained on the basis of performed studies in various Slovenian companies. Through research we came to the conclusion that Slovenian companies are more and more aware of the importance of information security as they dedicate more attention to it. Most do not follow information security standards, but they do care for basic protection, which is needed for a successful information security.
