Abstract

Secondary title: VEGETARIAN FOOD FOR PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN
Secondary abstract: In the thesis entitled A vegetarian diet of preschool children, the original purpose of eating is presented, to provide the energy and nutritional needs of the organism and the smooth functioning of the immune sistem. The content is focused on the causes or motives of people, parents, who have opted for a vegetarian diet. Parents are the ones who choose to prepare and offer food to the child. They play an important role and watch over nutritional needs of the organism and the smooth functioning of the immune system role in developing healthy eating habits. A balanced vegetarian diet can provide all the necessary materials for the developing baby. The importance of organic food in the vegetarian diet of children is described. By choosing organic foods children consume complete food that is fuller taste than conventionally grown. I speak about public kindergartens, which are often faced with the question whether a vegetarian diet for preschool children is suitable or not.
