Abstract
Diplomska naloga predstavlja numerični izračun ohlajanja ulitka. Analiza je bila narejena s programskim paketom ANSYS CFX – 13.0. Izračunali sta se dve stanji, in sicer časovno neodvisno ter časovno odvisno stanje. Za hladilni medij se je uporabil zrak. Namen je bil teoretično in s pomočjo numerične simulacije izračunati potreben čas za ohlajanje ulitka.
Rezultati pokažejo, da analitični izračun poda pregrobo oceno potrebnega časa ohlajanja ulitka. Časovno odvisna numerična simulacija pokaže, da je čas ohlajanja daljši od izračunanega. Ugotovimo, da se volumen ulitka ohlaja enakomerno, in ne opazimo kritičnih točk.

Numerical simulation of cooling of a cast |
Secondary abstract: |
The diploma thesis presents the numerical simulation of cooling of a cast. The calculation was performed with ANSYS CFX – 13.0.The calculation was performed for two states, first for a steady state and second for a transient state. The cooling fluid was air. The purpose of the analysis was to determine the theoretical time for cooling of the cast and to determine the cooling time with the help of the numerical simulation.
Results show, that the analytical calculation results are not accurate enough. The transient numerical simulation results show, that the cooling time of the cast is longer than in the analytical calculation. The simulation also shows that the cooling of the cast through the volume is even and we don’t encounter any critical points. |
