Abstract

Med naprednejše postopke čiščenja odpadnih oljnih vod sodi uporaba ultrafiltracijskih membran, vendar pa je glavna pomanjkljivost membranskih procesov mašenje membran. V diplomskem delu je prikazan postopek čiščenja ter ponovna uporaba zamašenih polimernih (PAN, GR60PP in UFX-pHt) membran pri procesu ultrafiltracije (UF). Proučevali smo gostoto volumskega toka (J) membran v odvisnosti od vhodnega tlaka (p) in hitrost pretoka (q) v odvisnosti od obratovalnega časa (t) pri različnih vhodnih tlakih. Površinske in strukturne lastnosti membrane pomembno vplivajo na pretok skozi membrano, od tega pa je odvisna tudi zmogljivost filtracijske naprave, zato smo pred in po obdelavi ultrafiltracije ter kemijskem čiščenju membran spremljali naslednje fizikalne parametre: stični kot, pretočni potencial, uporabili pa smo tudi Fourierjevo infrardečo transformacijsko spektroskopijo (FTIR) in vrstično elektronsko spektroskopijo (SEM). Na podlagi vseh analiz smo določili učinkovitost kemijskega čiščenja ter spremembe površinskih lastnosti membran.

Secondary abstract: One of the most progressive way of wastewater cleaning is the use of ultrafiltration membranes, but the main disadvantage of the process is membrane fouling. In these thesis the cleaning of fouled polymeric membranes (PAN, GR60PP, UFX-pHt) and their reuse within ultrafiltration (UF) process is presented. The membrane flux (J) in dependance of input pressure (p) was studied as well as the flow rate (q) in dependance of operating time (t) at different input pressures. Surface and structural properties of membrane are very important for their flow velocity, which defines the capacity of filtration device. Therefore, before and after UF, and also after chemical cleaning physical parameters as contact angle, and streaming potential were analyzed, and also Fourier transform infrared spectroscoppy (FTIR) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) were used. Considering the results of these measurements the chemical cleaning efficiency and membrane surface behaviour were determined.
