Abstract

Slovenija in Češka sta leta 2004 skupaj s še nekaterimi državami vstopili v Evropsko unijo. Za obe je značilno, da imata majhno in zelo odprto gospodarstvo in sta odvisni od gospodarskih gibanj na tujih trgih. Obe državi sta beležili visoko gospodarsko rast po vstopu v EU, ki pa se je končala z gospodarsko krizo ob koncu leta 2008 in po kateri je Češka dosti bolje okrevala od Slovenije. Po BDP na prebivalca sta obe državi pod evropskim povprečjem. Vendar je slovenski BDP na prebivalca v letu 2011 še vedno višji od češkega, saj dosega 84 % evropskega povprečja, medtem ko češka raven razvitosti dosega 80 % evropskega povprečja.V drugem delu diplomskega seminarja nam je analiza cen pokazala, da ima Slovenija za okoli 16 % višjo raven cen storitev od Češke. Komunalne storitve so bile edina skupina, ki je imela v povprečju višjo raven cen na Češkem kot v Sloveniji. Pri ostalih skupinah so bile cene v Sloveniji višje. Najbolj sta se ravni cen približali v skupini storitev komunikacij.

Secondary title: ǂA ǂcomparison of the Slovenian and Czech economy with emphasis on the evaluation of the services' price level
Secondary abstract: Slovenia and Czech Republic entered along with a few other countries in European Union in 2004. Both countries have a small and very open economy and depend on economic developments in foreign markets. Both countries have recorded high economic growth after joining the EU, which ended with the economic crisis at the end of 2008. According to GDP, per capita, the two countries are under the European average. However, the Slovenian GDP per capita in 2011 was still higher than the Czech Republic, it reached 84 %, while the Czech Republic was 80 % under average.In the second part, an analysis of prices showed, that Slovenia has about 16 % higher prices for services compare to the Czech Republic. Municipal services were the only group that had on average a higher price level in the Czech Republic, than in Slovenia. For other groups, the prices were higher in Slovenia. Group communication services has in both countries very similar level of prices.
