Abstract

Diplomska naloga obravnava oceno razpoložljivega potenciala sončne energije na strehah obstoječih stavb. Sončna energija, sevanje Sonca, osnove solarne geometrije, fotonapetostni pojav in sončni moduli so osnovni pojmi, ki so predstavljeni kot osnova za razumevanje delovanja sončnih elektrarn. Predstavljeno je, na kaj je potrebno paziti pri gradnji sončne elektrarne ter kako pravilno izbrati lokacijo za postavitev. V nadaljevanju je predstavljeno globalno sončno obsevanje, ki je osnova za izračun oziroma ovrednotenje sončnega potenciala, ki jo prejme ploskev z določeno lego ter pojmi, ki so uporabljeni pri raziskavi ocene sončne energije na strehah stavb . Raziskava ocene sončne energije na strehah stavb je narejena za ulico Pišeška cesta. Rezultati so predstavljeni tabelarično ter grafično.

Secondary title: Assessment of available solar energy potential on the roofs of existing buildings
Secondary abstract: The diploma work examines the estimation of availability of solar energy potential, on the rooftops of the preexisting buildings. Solar energy, Sun radiation, the basics of solar geometry, photovoltaic effect and the solar panel, are the main concepts, that are discussed as a basis for understanding the solar photovoltaic system operation. The diploma work also offers a list of precautions, which must be taken into account when building such a system and how to choose the optimal destination for installation. Later in in the work, Global solar radiation is also introduced, which represents the basis for the calculation of solar potential, that is available to particular surface on a specific location, and also terms which are used in estimation of available solar energy on the rooftops of buildings are further explored. The survey of availability of solar energy on rooftops of preexisting buildings is made for Pišeška cesta street. Results of the survey are represented in both tabular and graphical form.
