Abstract
V diplomski nalogi rešujemo problem navigacije in lokalizacije mobilnih platform s pomočjo digitalnega kompasa. V prvem delu predstavimo zasnovo inteligentne mobilne enote DATA, v inteligentnem okolju DATA. V drugem delu pa predstavimo razvoj digitalnega kompasa, ki z uporabo senzorja magnetnega polja Zemlje in senzorja nagiba, določa usmerjenost mobilne platforme DATA glede na magnetni sever Zemlje. Kompas meri azimut ne glede na njegov nagib. V diplomi smo uporabili eksperimentalno metodo, pri čemer smo merjene rezultate vnašali v tabele in grafe, ter jih primerjali z grafi v priročniku izbranega senzorja in dejansko postavitvijo kompasa.

Secondary abstract: |
The diploma thesis discusses issues about navigation and localization of mobile platforms by using a digital compass. In the first part a design of a mobile unit DATA in intelligent environment DATA is presented. In the second part the development of digital compass which uses Earth's magnetic field sensor and inclination sensor to measure orientation of mobile platform DATA considering Earth's magnetic north is presented. The compass measures azimuth regardless its inclination. Experimental method was used in the diploma, since we entered the measured results in tables and graphs, and then compared them to graphs found in the sensor's manual and with the actual placement of compass. |
