Abstract

Zavarovalniške goljufije so danes zagotovo vse bolj priljubljena oblika kaznivega dejanja gospodarske kriminalitete. Dosti lažje jih je izvesti in manj je verjetno, da bodo storilce zalotili pri samem dejanju, zato se vse več ljudi odloča za to obliko kriminalitete. V diplomskem delu bomo opisali tipe najpogostejše oblike zavarovalniških goljufij. Ugotavljali bomo njihov vzrok za nastanek ter posledice, ki jih utrpijo zavarovalnice in zavarovanci. Opisali bomo tudi, kako izgleda tipičen zavarovalniški goljuf ter najboljše možnosti za preprečevanje zavarovalniških goljufij. Na konkretnih primerih bomo predstavili vlogo preiskovalcev in zavarovalniških agentov Zavarovalnice Generali d. d., kjer bomo skušali ugotoviti njihovo uspešnost pri preiskovanju zavarovalniških goljufij ter ugotoviti, kako in na kakšen način odkrivajo goljufije. Vprašali smo se tudi, kako uspešno se same zavarovalnice lotijo preiskovanja goljufij in kaj konkretno storijo v primeru odkritja suma goljufije. Zastavili smo si dve hipotezi, ki jih bomo v teku raziskovanja in pisanja diplomskega dela poskušali dokazati.

Secondary abstract:	Insurance frauds are certainly a popular form of criminal acts in the field of economic crime today. They are much easier to be committed and there are less opportunities of apprehension in the process of the activity, so more and more people decide and commit these actions. In the diploma thesis, we will describe the most common types of insurance frauds occurring in the insurance industry, their causes and consequences suffered by the insurance companies as well as policyholders. We will also describe what a typical insurance fraudster looks like. We will also describe preventive acts against insurance fraudsters. Using the examples, we will present the role of investigators and insurance agents Generali Insurance d.d., where we will try to determine their effectiveness in investigating insurance fraud, and how and in what way to identify a fraud. We also asked a question how successfully the insurance companies engage in insurance fraud investigations and what specifically they do in case of detection of the suspected fraud. We have set two hypotheses, which we will try to prove in the course of research and writing the thesis.
