Secondary title: | The importance of planned and regularly performed exercises for the motorical development of a child |
Secondary abstract: | Present diploma paper has studied the meaning of planned and regularly implemented physical activities for physical development of a child. The theoretical part presents physical development in pre-school period, the effects on physical development, and conditions for successful planning of physical activities. In the empirical part we used the causal non-experimental method. 44 educators were included in a non-random sample from specific population. A closed-type questionnaire was used as a measuring instrument. The data was quantitatively processed and analyzed using descriptive and bivariate statistics. On the basis of the results it was determined that the level of education does not affect the quantity of planned physical activities; planned physical activities are not available to children every day; educator's level of expertise in various sports has no effect on the quantity of planned physical activities; educators enable outdoor exercise to children several times a week irrespective of the weather; educator's sport activity in their leisure time is not connected to the frequency of implementing physical/sport activities in kindergarten and the level of education is not connected to the testing. |
