Abstract

Uporaba računalnika se je v zadnjih letih močno spremenila. Še pred nedavnim zaposleni niso imeli druge izbire kot delati v pisarni podjetja na njihovem stacionarnem računalniku. Teh časov je že zdavnaj konec, saj so se mobilne naprave z razvojem brezžičnih omrežij in naprednih tehnologij razvile v prave žepne računalnike. V diplomski nalogi je v prvem delu prikazan koncept BYOD — katere so njegove prednosti in slabosti ter tveganja vpeljave tega koncepta v podjetje. Predstavljeni so štirje najbolj uporabljeni operacijski sistemi, centralno upravljanje in nadzor mobilnih naprav ob uporabi koncepta ter primerna varnostna politika. Pregledali smo dobro prakso in morebitno prihodnost samega koncepta BYOD. V drugem delu je predstavljen predlog, kako koncept BYOD vpeljati v podjetje Fraport Slovenija, d. o. o. V raziskovalnem delu diplomskega dela smo uporabili anketni vprašalnik in ga poslali zaposlenim v podjetju Fraport Slovenija, d. o. o., ki uporabljajo službene mobilne naprave. Z anketnim vprašalnikom smo pridobili odgovor na obe zastavljeni hipotezi. Z diplomsko nalogo smo želeli preveriti stopnjo varnosti, s katero zaposleni uporabljajo službene mobilne naprave, ter poznavanje koncepta BYOD med zaposlenimi in pripravljenost na sprejetje le-tega.

Secondary abstract:	The use of computers has changed greatly in recent years. In not so distant past, employees had no other choice but to work in offices on a desktop computer. Due to technology progress and development of the wireless network, mobile devices have become real pocket computers. The first part of this thesis is the presentation of the BYOD concept: what are the strengths and weaknesses of this concept, and also what are the risks of introducing it to the company. Featured are the four most used operating systems, described what the central management and the control over mobile devices are like when using the BYOD concept, and what the most appropriate security policy is. We checked the good practice and the possible future of the very BYOD concept. The second part of this thesis is actually a proposal on how to implement the BYOD concept in Fraport Slovenia, d. o. o. In the research part of the thesis, we used a questionnaire and sent it to employees of Fraport Slovenia, d. o. o., which are using company mobile devices. With this questionnaire, we obtained answers to both hypotheses. The aim of this thesis is to verify how securely employees use their company mobile devices, what is the knowledge of the BYOD concept among employees and the willingness of adopting it.
