magistrsko delo
Abstract
Na karakteristični dan so vse izmerjene vrednosti v testnem prostoru s panelom B in testnem prostoru z radiatorjem ustrezale zahtevam Pravilnika o klimatizaciji in prezračevanju stavb. To smo poskušali rešiti z optimizacijo prostora, in sicer z omejitvijo najvišje temperature panela in spremembo njegovega položaja.

Experimental evaluation of IR heating panels' performance in terms of thermal comfort |
Secondary abstract: |
The purpose of this Master's thesis is to evaluate the functionality of the radiational heating system with IR panels as in accordance with the regulations on the ventilation and air-conditioning of buildings in terms of thermal comfort, and compare it with a conventional heat transfer system (radiator). We conducted a systematic review of the literature in the field of functionality of various types of heating systems. Thermal comfort criteria were chosen in line with the applicable legislation and we performed an experimental comparison of the two systems. In experimental work we had three test areas installed with two IR panels by different manufacturers (A and B) and a radiator. The measurements of selected parameters of thermal comfort were performed in the winter from December 1st 2015 to February 15th 2016. Based on the results we defined the disadvantages of the heating systems and conducted an optimization of IR panels. The measured parameters of thermal comfort have differed between the two systems. On the reference day all measured values in the test area with the panel B and the test area with the radiator have met the requirements of the regulations. In the room where the panel A was installed, there were more inappropriate parameters of thermal comfort. Of the total number of measurements for this characteristic day for this room thirteen percent of the results were inadequate. In rooms where we installed the IR panels, surface temperature of the panel had been too high, which resulted in radiant asymmetry and local thermal discomfort. We tried to solve this by limiting the maximum temperature of the panel and by changing its position. The maximum allowable surface temperature of the IR panels was determined according to the requirements of the regulations and therefore the onset of radiant asymmetry was prevented and an overall thermal comfort was provided. The presented course of evaluation can be used in the evaluation of any heating or cooling system in the internal environment. For the purposes of the overall evaluation of heating and cooling systems it would be necessary to also include other parameters of comfort and energy use. |
