Abstract

V magistrskem delu smo opisali mobilne tehnologije, ki so temelj za delovanje modernih mobilnih omrežij. Podrobno smo predstavili standarde GSM, UMTS in LTE. Po korakih smo sledili postopku umestitve bazne postaje mobilnega omrežja v prostor. Osrednjo problematiko magistrskega dela predstavlja analiza mobilnega omrežja LTE na množičnih prireditvah. V prvem delu smo opredelili karakteristike sistema, ki so ključne z vidika kapacitete in kakovosti storitve v omrežju LTE. V nadaljevanju smo podali in analizirali statistične podatke za mobilno omrežje na množični prireditvi praznovanja novega leta v Sloveniji. Predstavili smo tudi parametre in statistiko mobilnega omrežja na eni izmed največjih množičnih prireditev – tekmovanje v smučarskih poletih v Planici. Rezultate analize mobilnega omrežja smo grafično predstavili in argumentirali.

Secondary title: Planning the lte network for mass events
Secondary abstract: The following work describes mobile technologies, which pose as a foundation of modern mobile network systems. We present the GSM, UMTS and LTE standards in detail. Step by step we follow the implementation process of mobile network base station. The objective of this master's thesis represents the analysis of LTE mobile network for mass events. In the first part we specify the system characteristics, that are crucial from the capacity and quality of service perspective, in LTE network. Secondly we present and analyze the statistical data of mobile network for New Year mass event in Slovenia. Last, but not least we present the parameters and statistics of mobile network for one of the biggest mass events- competition in ski jumps in Planica. The analysis results of mobile network are graphically presented and reviewed.
