Abstract

Poglavitna tema magistrskega dela (karakterizacija likov) je postavljena v okvir tematiziranja intimnih, ljubezenskih/erotičnih medosebnih odnosov in z njimi tesno povezanih spolnih razlik, (iskanja) spolne identitete in spolnih stereotipov v kontekstu ljubezenske/erotične literature. Ključni del magistrskega dela predstavlja analiza izbranih kratkih proznih del slovenskih avtorjev/avtoric, ki so izšla med letoma 2011 in 2013, v katerih smo primarno proučevali prikaz likov - kakšni so, kako delujejo, kaj jih vodi ipd., torej smo raziskovali postopke/načine/tipe karakterizacije literarnih likov, sočasno pa smo presojali tudi možno prisotnost elementov (spolnih) stereotipov in patriarhalno usmerjene družbe, ki so povezani predvsem z razumevanjem spolnih vlog oz. s položajem ženske in moškega v družbi kakor tudi z njunimi medsebojnimi razmerji. Zanimalo nas je torej, kakšne so poglavitne značilnosti predstavljenih literarnih likov in kateri tipi karakterizacije prevladujejo. V izbranih zbirkah kratke proze so v ospredju tiste zgodbe, ki tematizirajo intimne odnose in predvsem glavne literarne osebe, pri katerih smo ugotavljali, kako so opredeljene njihove fizične/zunanje, družbene in mentalne/notranje lastnosti, ter možne vplive spolnih razlik oz. stereotipov na njihov osebni razvoj.

Secondary title: Characterization of the literary characters in the selected Slovene prose after the year 2000
Secondary abstract: The master's thesis entitled Characterization of the Literary Characters in the Selected Slovene Prose after the Year 2000 treats the concept of research dealing literary characters' characterization - how they behave, how they think and how they act, so the existent work shows, how authors give their literary characters vivid features, especially personal. The principal subject of master's thesis (characters' characterization) is set into the concept of discussion about intimate, love/erotic interpersonal relations and tightly connected sexual differences, (search of) sexual identity and sexual stereotypes in the context of love/erotic literature. The main part of this paper represents the analysis of chosen short prose written by Slovene authors that were published between 2011 and 2013, where we primary studied the characters' display - how do they look like, how they act, what guides them etc. so we researched the procedures/ways/types of literary characters' characterization. At the same time we also judged possible presence of elements which are (sexual) stereotypes and patriarchal oriented societies that are connected mostly to understanding of sexual roles or woman's and men's position in the society as with their interpersonal relations. We were interested in the main features of represented literary characters and which types of characterization predominate. The chosen collections of short prose put in the foreground those stories that discuss intimate relations and mostly main literary characters, where we tried to find out how their physical/external, social and mental/inner features and possible influences of sexual differences or stereotypes on their personal development are defined.
