Abstract
Diplomsko delo predstavlja raziskavo na temo vplivov različnih vrst masivnega lesa na zvok. Les je eden izmed glavnih gradnikov glasbil kakor tudi druge avdio opreme, ki se uporablja v avdio produkciji. Zanimal nas je vpliv, ki ga ima les na končen produkt, na zvok. V delu so najprej predstavljene teoretične osnove valovanj, zvoka, človeškega slušnega spektra ter fizikalnih in mehanskih lastnosti več vrst lesa. Predstavljeno je tudi načrtovanje in izdelava kitarskih kabinetov, ki smo jih izdelali za potrebe testiranj. Na koncu smo opravili testiranja, ki predstavljajo dokaze o vplivu različnih vrst lesa na zvok in kakšen je ta vpliv za vsako izmed vrst.

Secondary abstract: |
This thesis examines how different types of solid wood affect sound. Wood is one of the main components of instruments and other equipment used in audio production. The main focus of this paper is the effect different types of wood have on sound, the end result produced by the equipment. As first we presented the theoretical basics of waves, sound, the human hearing spectrum and the physical and mechanical properties of various types of wood. The process of making guitar speaker enclosures, which were used for testing purposes, is also presented. Finally, tests were performed that provide evidence of the effect of different types of wood on sound and what the effect is like for each of the wood types. |
