Abstract

Secondary title: Synthesis and characterization of Bi2MoO6 nanoparticles
Secondary abstract: The aim of this thesis is the preparation of Bi2MoO6 nanoparticles by sonochemical method. The framework was initialy divided into two parts; the first one consisted of synthesis of bismuth molybdate and the other involved the characterization of the sample. The syntheses took place under the influence of ultrasonic irradiation of the precipitate, which was prepared in different pH ranges. The chemical reaction was performed through the process of acoustic cavitation. The process consists of formation, growth and collapse of the gas bubbles in the fluid, wherein the energy is released for the formation of nanoparticles. The characterization molecular structure of crystals was performed by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD). For a more precise determination of the molecular formulas of prepared samples we also used the thermogravimetric analysis (TG) .
