Analiza in primerjava tehnik za shranjevanje podatkov na mobilnih napravah

Abstract

V magistrski nalogi smo raziskali področje tehnik za obdelavo podatkov na mobilnih napravah in opredelili potrebe po lokalnem shranjevanju in obdelavi podatkov. Na podlagi preliminarne analize smo izbrali tehnike shrambe podatkov, ki smo jih na podlagi komparativne metode in eksperimentov podrobneje analizirali z vidika njihove uporabnosti za razvijalca, zmogljivosti delovanja in kompleksnosti pri razvoju programskih rešitev. V analizo smo vključili relacijsko bazo SQLite, objektno bazo Realm in relacijsko-objektni preslikovalnik OrmLite. Ugotovili smo, da tehnika shrambe podatkov vpliva na analizirane koncepte, saj med izbranimi tehnikami obstajajo signifikantne razlike v njihovi uporabnosti za razvijalca, zmogljivosti delovanja in kompleksnosti pri razvoju programskih rešitev.

Secondary abstract:	In master's thesis, we have researched an area of techniques for managing data on mobile devices and defined needs for local data storage and data processing. Based on preliminary analysis we have chosen data storage techniques that have been analyzed in detail by comparative methods and experiments in terms of usability for the developer, performance and complexity in the development of software solutions. Analysis includes relational database SQLite, object database Realm and a relational-objective mapper OrmLite. We have come to a conclusion that the technique of data storage influences analyzed concepts, because there are significant differences among the chosen techniques in their usability for developer, performance and complexity in development of software solutions.
