Abstract
Na vsakem treningu so igralci izvajali proste mete v petih serijah po 20, 25, 30, 35 in 40 metov.

Effect of a 10-week training programme with a reduced hoop diameter rim on free-throw performance in young basketball players |
Secondary abstract: |
There are a lot of elements in basketball game and basketball shot is the most used element of all. With every successful shot team is rewarded with points. Free-throw is only shot in basketball game where are playing conditions the same every time we shot it. Free-throw is very important element of basketball game thus is worth only one point. A lot of games are decided by free-throw shots, especially at the end of the game. 11 players from KD Slovan, aged from 15 to 17, participated in this research. Each one of the participants performed 10 practices of free-throw shooting with series of 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 shoots on regular rim. In second part of research all participants performed 20 practices of free-throw shooting on reduced hoop diameter rim with exact number of shoots. Meanwhile participants were tested several times during research with 94Fifty technology (smart ball). Smart ball is a regulation basketball with sensors inside. Those sensors measure shot and dribbling, and send the data over Bluetooth to smart-phone or computer. All data from practices and testing days were collected with special designed formulars. With 94Fifty technology we could follow progress during research. We found that a reduced hoop diameter rim makes no significant difference in 10-week training program. Effects of a reduced hoop diameter rim were short term and shorter than we expected. |
