Abstract

Revizijske sledi so lahko v papirni ali elektronski obliki in zagotavljajo popolno dokumentirano zgodovino nekega procesa ali transakcije. V diplomskem delu so predstavljene in opisane različne definicije revizijskih sledi s strani organizacij, ki se ukvarjajo z revidiranjem informacijskega sistema, upravljanjem informacijske tehnologije itd. Nato je predstavljena nova evropska uredba o varstvu podatkov s poudarkom na reformah. Sledi vpogled v slovensko zakonodajo za varstvo podatkov, na koncu pa so ugotovitve strnjene v sklep.

Secondary title: Audit trails within information systems
Secondary abstract: Audit trails can be paper or electronic based, and they provide a complete documented history of a process or transaction. In our thesis different definitions of audit trails, which are presented by various organizations that deal with IS auditing, IT management, etc. are presented and described. A new European Data Protection Regulation, with a focus on reforms, is then presented. The following is an insight into the Slovenian data protection legislation, and in the end, the findings are summarized in the conclusion.
