diplomsko delo

Abstract

Secondary title: Analysis of publicly available personal information on the internet
Secondary abstract: Many internet users share and make their personal information available online. However, they are not aware how much of them are shared publicly. An experiment and a survey have been conducted to gather information on internet users’ awareness of publicly shared personal information. We came to a conclusion that more information about the majority of the users is published than they would like. The gathered information varies depending on the different type of the internet users. Information about age, date of birth, place of residence, user’s images, job and career information, education details, information on relationships, most often visited locations and information about hobbies and interests are among the most commonly found.
