Abstract

Pomen mednarodnega poslovanja se povečuje, saj morajo podjetja zaradi potrebe po povečanju konkurenčnosti iskati možnosti tudi na tujih trgih. Preden se odločijo za vstop na tuji trg je potrebno analizirati poslovno okolje izbrane države. Podjetja se zavedajo, da je konkurenca velika in da je potrebno zmeraj biti vsaj korak pred ostalimi. Zato imajo lahko pri širjenju poslovanja v tujino konkurenčno prednost, v kolikor je njihova analiza političnega, ekonomskega, sociokulturnega in tehnološkega okolja podrobna. V primeru, da ta ni napravljena pravilno, lahko namesto rasti in razvoja, vodi podjetje v večja tveganja z vidika uspešnosti in konkurenčnosti. Analiza poslovnega okolja in deželnih tveganj pa ni pomembna samo ob vstopu podjetij na tuji trg, ampak jo je potrebno izvajati in dopolnjevati tudi, ko je podjetje na trgu že prisotno. Poznavanje okolja tuje države podjetjem omogoči obvladovati možna tveganja in razne zaplete. Estonija je majhna država v severnem delu Evrope, kar pomeni, da ima tudi majhno gospodarstvo. Kljub temu, da dosega visok obseg mednarodnih poslovnih aktivnosti s sosednjimi državami, se želi nekako otresti te odvisnosti s tem, da bi se odprla in privabljala izvoznike in investitorje iz drugih držav. S ciljem podrobnejšega vpogleda v razmere, vključno s priložnostmi in tveganji estonskega gospodarstva, v diplomskem seminarju analiziramo poslovno okolje te države.

Secondary abstract: Influence of international business is increasing because of competition, companies have to look for other options on foreign markets. Before they decide, if they should expand to a foreign market, it is necessary to analyze business environment of that country. Companies are aware that the competition is big and that you should stay a step ahead of everyone else. If their analyses of economic, political, techonological and socio-cultural environment is good, they have a advantage when entering a foreign market. But on the other hand, if this analysis is not done correct, it can have negative consequences. Instead of growth and development, it can lead the company to more risks. Analysis of business environment and country risks is not important only when entering the market, but also when the company is already established there. Knowing the environment of the foreign country gives the companies a chance to control possible risks and outcomes. Estonia is a small country on the North of Europe and it has a small economy. Although it is getting most of the business relations done with the neighbor countries, it wants to get out of this depending status and open to other exporters and investors from other countries. With analyzing Estonian economy, its opportunities and risks, we analyzed business environment of this country.
